Cat Looking Back Pierced Pendant The Cat Totem. Although cats are well accepted as loving and independant companions they have not always been seen as good creatures. Associated with the dark moon they were long regarded as sinister and as the embodiement of evil faries. In Scandinavian mythology cats were associated with the moon goddess freyja. Some of the attributes of cat totems are secrets, intuition, independance, luck, patience, curiosity, and hidden knowledge. Shown to the right is the Cat Looking Back necklace cut in Red Brass. Each Bear pendant is individually hand cut, please allow for variation in individual pieces.

This Cat Looking Back necklace is approximately 2" wide x 2" high and hangs from a 30" adjustable black leather cord. After being cut and polished these pendants are coated in bees wax to protect their finish. As they age they will gain a natural patina that is individual to the piece and how it is worn. Cleaning: Pendants can be cleaned with a soft polishing cloth. If needed the leather cord can be removed and the pendants washed with a mild non-abrasive soap and water.
